Industry leading products, supported with reliable and friendly service

Innova-Aid is a proudly Australian owned and operated supplier of assistive technology products.
We service clients both locally and internationally and along with our retailers, we are all collectively passionate about providing effective solutions to our clients.
Our Products
Innova- Aid specialises in the production of high-quality wheelchairs, wheeled walking aids, bathroom aids and lift chairs. Countless hours have been committed in developing high quality products that are able to withstand the added strength requirements of western markets whilst maintaining the use of aluminium to retain lightweight functionality. These propriety products along with competitive pricing, innovation and exceptional service, places Innova-Aid at the forefront of the industry. Ninety five percent (95%) of our range is designed internally and manufactured by leaders in the industry.
Unlike many of our competitors, Innova- Aid is uniquely equipped with our own in-house Quality and Control Compliance team. These teams are on the ground with our manufacturers, monitoring the production process and ensuring compliance to all necessary quality controls in place. This meticulous process ensures that any quality issues are detected (and resolve) prior to the product leaving the plant, ensuring the product arriving for distribution is faultless, saving the inconvenience and cost to the end client. Our rigorous compliance and quality controls, along with our manufacturing process have proven to be amongst the most reliable in the industry.
Director Profile
As founder of Innova-Aid, Mr Riaad Cajee has been actively servicing the mobility and assistive technology industry for over 20 years. Riaad’s journey started when he was brought into the family owned import and wholesale business known at the time as Freedom Healthcare.
Riaad was able to quickly learn and develop all necessary skill prerequisites of importing, wholesaling, and designing products for one of the world’s most innovative and discerning markets. Over the next 15 years, Riaad held the position of General Manager of the firm and guided the company to overwhelming success.
During his time as General Manager, Riaad identified the need for an internal Quality and Compliance Control Team in the manufacturing plant in China as well as high level QC procedures for contract manufacturers in nearby neighbouring countries including Taiwan, Indonesia and South Korea. This was crucial to ensuring the highest quality products were delivered consistently to clients and this attention to detail also provided the foundation in acquiring multiple Government contracts and Standing Offer Arrangements.
With a wealth of experience, knowledge, and industry contacts, 2019 saw Riaad embark on further growth and create his own company. This career change has allowed Riaad with the flexibility of continuing to supply assistive technology products while further embarking on other new challenges including providing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in bulk quantities to international markets, as a result of the Covid-19 Pandemic
